Engaged: Sarah and Cory

Meet Sarah and Cory. They rock my world. Sarah double rocks my world because despite wearing heals she kind of risked her life scaling and climbing rough terrain, at times going barefoot to climb our own Mount Kilimanjaro here in MN. Cory and Sarah are easy going, super friendly, and are 100% fun. And that's that. Can't wait for their December wedding!

Meet: The Cutest Family on the Planet

Meet the cutest family on the planet. I had too much fun on this shoot as there was plenty of laughing, humor, love, and well...goosebumps. You'll see in a second.





Sparkles, hearts, and pink nail polish screams all girl to me :).


Now is a good time to mention that we did this shoot when it was 40 degrees with wind gusts of 25 mph. I had no problems being outside because I had on mittens, a down vest, and lots of layers. But all of the kiddos along with mom and dad were in sandals and t-shirts!!!! I'm not sure why I love the next image. Maybe you had to be there, but it was so cold, the babies were crying, mom and dad were patiently trying to make things work, and I was laughing at the situation. Even in the midst of the cold chaos I thought they all looked so beautiful, together as a family.

I laugh out loud every time I look at the next image. Holding his sister's hand almost killed Zach :)

Thanks Mom and Dad! Your patience, sense of adventure, and humor was very much appreciated.

Engaged: Angie and Eric

Meet Angie and Eric! Ta da! They are self-proclaimed nerds, but believe me...being nerdy is the new black!!! They enjoy playing video games (old school nintendo, the wii, etc), coffee shop dates, knitting, bubble tea, computers, movement, and quirky science stuff. They will be married in July! Yippy skippy! Hurray for love!

Engaged: Kelly and Tyler

Please meet Kelly and Tyler. She listens and gently encourages. He offers his hand to help her through a patch of rough terrain. Their story of meeting at their parents' cabins as neighbors is so very cute. Another great story of two people meeting to be together forever. I'm really excited to be a part of their wedding day! I hear the wedding party is just as fun and sweet as Kelly and Tyler.
Water is a big part of their lives individually, their lives together as a couple, and their families. So it was important that we hang around a lake (a big pond here in the Twin Cities) and just soak it all in. There were some very interesting events going on while we did this shoot including taking some pics with a group of high school prom goers...so fun.

Engaged: Tiff and Mike

I am so looking forward to Tiff and Mike's wedding in Wisconsin. We met on Saturday to discuss their wedding plans and to do their engagement shoot. They are the sweetest couple. Can't wait...enjoy the slideshow.
